About us
Small-batch watches, shaped by real-world wear and made to last.
Our Story
Sanctum started with Izzy's love of watches, not just wearing them, but collecting them, studying their history, understanding what actually makes a tool watch good. That passion turned into designing watches of his own: all the features and details he loves, built to the same standard, but brought into a more attainable price bracket without cutting on quality.
Bec is the creative force behind the scenes. The promo, the marketing, the photography, turning what Izzy designs into something people actually see and connect with.
Sanctum is run by the two of them. It's a small, Australian microbrand, and that's intentional, every watch gets real attention before it goes out the door.
Each piece is tested the way it'll actually be worn: at work, outdoors, around kids, day to day. If it didn't hold up to that, it didn't make the cut.
Our Philosophy
Years of collecting and studying watch history taught Izzy one thing: the best tool watches were never the flashiest, they were the ones still on someone's wrist a decade later. That's the standard we design to. We'd rather build something that lasts than something that's easy to sell. Simple design, solid materials, and a watch that's still worth wearing in ten years.
Where We're From
Designed and tested in Ipswich, Queensland. Proudly an Australian microbrand from day one. Built for anyone who wants the same thing we do, wherever they're wearing it.
A Note From the Maker
"I've always loved watches. Collecting them, learning their history, figuring out what makes a good one, good. These are built to survive the same life I live: work, kids, being outdoors. If it couldn't handle that, it didn't make it into the collection. It's still just Izzy and Bec running this, and we're keeping it that way."
